It has very high and consistent yields; however, its high vigor and low resistance to cold rule it out for high-density cultivation. It would adapt well to warm areas with limited irrigation, as this reduces its growth. Its oil is highly valued, highly stable, late-ripening, has good oil extractability, and is susceptible to tuberculosis.
