A variety native to Martos, Jaén. Widely distributed throughout Spain, it is highly productive, producing an oil highly prized in the market for its high polyphenol and oleic acid content. It is planted intensively, as it is not well suited to hedgerow cultivation due to its high vigor and low resistance to leaf rust. Its ripening is medium to late. Its fruit resistance to shedding is low.
